The Grand Masters of Fantasy metal are back! Norseman from Finland is the original alchemist of Fantasy Metal. When Norseman was born, it was one of the first bands carrying the flag of "Fantasy Metal". The tale of the band began when Epe, Frank, Pete and J.Tikander, Hard Rock/Heavy Metal players since early teenage, started to drift away from the speed metal. First, the only real difference to the music they had earlier created was the lyrics, now based to "Legendos", a table drawer fantasy tale written by Epe. Soon they had few songs ready and recorded their first demo 1995 at Pink Noise studio. From that session started their "tradition" to go to the studio every Easter. Year later they recorded 4 new songs at Peacemakers Studios. Jaska had joined the band, and with the keyboards songs definitely started to sound like "Fantasy Metal". THE DEBUT album "Lightbringer" contains Easter sessions of 1996 and 1997, digitally remastered from analog master tapes, resulting a HUGE and unbelievably POWERFUL sound!
